Students, teachers and families of Agora Portals run to end with the infantile leukemia

Today, Friday June 21st, Agora Portals school has participated in the ninth edition of La Vuelta al Cole de Unoentrecienmil, the solidarity school race against childhood leukemia in which they have achieved a collection of € 2800 that will go to fund research projects to help find a cure for this disease.
"We would like to conclude the academic year with this solidarity event that reflects the values of empathy and solidarity that we want to encourage in our students. It has been an incredible day where the entire educational community, families, teachers, non-teaching staff and students have joined the cause of Unoentrecienmil" says Rafael Barea, Director of Agora Portals and Enric Taberner.
During the last weeks the students of the center have been working on different workshops and projects to learn more about this serious disease that affects every year 300 children in Spain.
Since its inception in 2015, the solidarity race has brought together more than 1.5 million children with a clear objective: to boost research in the fight against childhood leukemia. And every year, more and more schools across Spain join this cause, providing fundamental support in the research projects that have been launched
