A day in the life of a student at Agora Portals International School (TRADUCC. DIC 25)

One of the most common questions families ask when considering an international school is very clear: what is students’ daily routine really like? Beyond the educational project or academic results, the everyday experience is key to understanding what school life feels like and how pupils grow within it. At our private school in Mallorca, Agora Portals International School, school life combines academic excellence, emotional wellbeing and multiple opportunities for each pupil to explore their interests, develop their talent and build meaningful relationships. To understand it better, we invite you to walk through a full day at the school. Discover what this international educational experience is like at our centre in Mallorca.

The experience of studying at Agora Portals

At Agora Portals, we are part of one of the world’s leading education groups. As proud members of Globeducate, we share the group’s philosophy and work to educate not only pupils, but citizens prepared to face the challenges of the future and make a positive impact on the world. Shaping the World is the purpose that guides our daily work.

Timetables, lessons and academic routines

The way daily life is organised at our private school in Mallorca is designed to offer an educational experience that is both structured and flexible for families. The school day follows a balanced timetable, with lessons taught by specialist teachers and a methodology that combines academic content, practical activities and collaborative work, adapted to each educational stage.

To support family life, the school offers different services. The extended hours service makes it possible to adjust pupils’ drop-off and pick-up times. Families who need it can use a period before the school day, from 7:50 am to 8:40 am, as well as a later slot that runs until 5:30 pm.

Our centre also provides a school transport service, connecting the school with nearby towns and offering a comfortable and safe daily travel solution for pupils. Likewise, the school restaurant provides a dining service with balanced menus adapted to different ages and dietary needs.

This combination of timetables, services and academic routines allows families to organise their daily lives with greater peace of mind, while pupils continue their education in a well-structured academic environment focused on their overall development.

Extracurricular activities and student life

At Agora Portals, we know that our pupils’ education does not end when lessons finish. The wide range of extracurricular activities we offer is a highly valued added benefit for pupils and an excellent opportunity to keep learning while advancing in their wellbeing and personal and social development. It is also worth noting that Balearic culture is present in our daily life as an essential part of the educational experience.

Sport, art and social events

At our private school in Mallorca, the educational day extends beyond lesson time through a comprehensive range of extracurricular activities that form an essential part of the Agora Portals experience. These activities allow pupils to develop personal, social and creative skills in a balanced and stimulating educational environment.

The sporting offer is broad and adapted to the environment and lifestyle of Mallorca. Swimming, football and tennis are joined by other international disciplines such as rugby, acrosport, dodgeball and badminton, among many others. All of them are aimed at encouraging healthy habits, teamwork and self-improvement. In this way, sport becomes an educational tool that reinforces key values such as effort, consistency and companionship.

Science and the arts also play a prominent role in school life within our STEAM educational project. Music, visual arts, robotics and technology, among other disciplines, allow pupils to express themselves, enhance their creativity and grow in confidence. Taking part in initiatives such as our Agora choir, which has performed in concerts alongside leading cultural institutions, as well as in international events such as the Globeducate International Music Festival, forms part of an educational offer that provides enriching cultural experiences both inside and outside school.

Ultimately, school life and students’ daily routine at our private school in Mallorca are enriched by a calendar of events and celebrations that includes cultural gatherings, sports activities and international initiatives, as well as experiences linked to Balearic culture. All of this helps to create an active educational community that is connected to its surroundings. Thanks to this approach, Agora Portals offers a complete educational experience focused on pupils’ academic, personal and social development.

And this is the daily routine of a student at Agora Portals International School: enriching and well balanced, combining academic learning, complementary activities and close support at every stage. On top of this, our services and timetables are designed to support family life and pupils’ wellbeing. Request information or book a visit to get to know us better.
