Agora Portals, an example of innovation in education in Spain

The national newspaper ABC published an article about the introduction of technology in the classrooms.

Agora Portals, a pioneer in introducing technology in the classrooms since 2008, has positioned itself as an innovative school at national level by introducing the subject of ‘Technology, Robotics and Coding’ into its educational curriculum from 5 years old to 4th ESO. All of this without forgetting traditional educational elements such as learning how to use the abacus, reading, drama or public speaking programmes, and the arts. Agora Portals is known for offering an educational project which goes beyond the purely academic curriculum, complementing it with five essential pillars: IB, multilingualism, STEAM, health and sports, as well as ‘Shaping the world’, the motto of all Globeducate's schools.

As its director, Rafael Barea, points out in the interview: ‘We must welcome artificial intelligence, teach students to be critical, to reference it in their work and to question it’.
