Agora Portals contributes to the welfare of hospitalized children of the Balearic Islands
- News
Rafael Barea, headmaster of the school, delivered last Tuesday 5 tables to the pediatric ICU of Son Espases.
Every year around 500 children are admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Son Espases where they are isolated from contact with their closest relatives such as their grandparents or siblings. Thanks to this donation by the school, the unit will now have 10 tablets that allow children to communicate with their friends, follow classes, or talk to their family.
The delivery ceremony was attended by members of Rotary Club Palma Almudaina as well as the medical unit of the reference hospital in the Balearic Islands.
For Agora Portals it is essential to be able to collaborate in actions that help improve the quality of life of children, as Rafael Barea has indicated.
