At Agora Portals, we offer a range of high quality, reliable additional services for the benefit of the whole school community and to enable families to achieve a happy balance between work, school and home life.
School Dining Room
As our students are constantly busy and active, it is essential that the meals that we provide are well-balanced, healthy and nutritious. Our menus are formulated by a professional dietitian and nutritionist who carefully plans the meals that we serve for maximum health, energy and nutrition. The food is prepared in our own, on-site kitchens, by chefs who are experts in child nutrition. The menus planned for each day can be adapted to suit the specific needs of students who have allergies, intolerances or illnesses, or require special diets.
Transport
The Agora Portals school bus service is available to help parents to get their children to school from different parts of the Island and to enable families to coordinate the demands of the work place with the school run. The bus service runs from the following towns: Palma (El Corte Inglés Avenidas), Son Verí and Marratxí (Festival Park). Parents who would like to find out more about the school bus service should contact the school office.
Extended hours services
At Agora Portals, we understand that it can be difficult for parents to reconcile the demands of work, home and school and that it is not always possible to drop off or collect your child at the designated times. In order to make life a bit easier, Agora Portals International School offers an extended hours service both before and after school, enabling parents to rest assured that their child will be well cared for and looked after during these periods of time:
- Extended hours before school are from 7:50 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.
- Extended hours after school are until 5:30 p.m. for Primary and until 6:00 p.m. for Early Years.
Cafeteria
The school has a cafeteria service and restaurant for the use of students’ families, providing an opportunity for parents to enjoy the same meals as their children and thus monitor the quality of the food provided and the menus on offer. The cafeteria operates from 8:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. on school days.
School shop
Agora Portals International School’s shop enables students and parents to purchase school uniforms and school sports kits (obligatory for every child at the school), and other items that your child may need.
