Leading the new generation of international schools

IB: An education for the future
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a complete and demanding curriculum accepted by the most prestigious universities in the world and develops pupils' key skills for academic, professional and personal success in an international context. Agora Portals International School was the first school in the Balearic Islands to be authorised to teach the International Baccalaureate® (IB) Diploma Programme (DP). As an IB World School, it is an investigative, reflective, active and creative school in a constant process of improvement.
Multilingualism
We prepare students for an international future. We offer a multilingual educational project, with linguistic immersion beyond English, which allows pupils to master the official languages alongside English, French, German and Chinese. Our pupils are deeply immersed in English from the earliest years, with 50% of the subjects and activities taught in English during the Pre-school and Primary stages, and the language project is adapted to each school stage, incorporating new foreign languages. Pupils can take exams at the school to obtain official qualifications
STEAM: Science and Arts
Art and science through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) skills is a pedagogical approach which advocates collaborative work and the integration of highly related skills. At Agora Portals International School we work with LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime to provide our pupils with the best training in programming and robotics. Furthermore, the school is an Official Music Conservatory, which allows pupils to obtain the Elementary Grade of Music and continue their studies to obtain the Professional Grade of Music
Sports and Health
Sport is an integral part of our curriculum, instilling in our pupils a passion for sport and healthy habits so that they become physically and emotionally balanced adults. Sport promotes their socialisation and transmits values in a natural way. Our pupils play more than 14 different sports and have an indoor sports hall with a semi-Olympic swimming pool, and the Agora International Sports Club, where the football, basketball and volleyball teams compete in federated leagues.
Shaping the World
At Agora Portals International School, as a school in the Globeducate group, we are committed to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Children entering education today will graduate as young adults in 2030: we must prepare them for jobs and technologies that do not exist today, to solve problems that have not yet been foreseen. We must encourage our students to take charge and shape their own future: we want them to be global citizens who can shape the world.
